Working with a large variety of clients makes my job interesting and I am committed to developing long term relationships. I enjoy using my experience to help my clients with not only their tax obligations but also with SMSF requirements and other issues that crop up from time to time.
Victoria joined our firm in 2003 originally. After 10 years with Bruce Edmunds & Associates her family transferred to Townsville where she continued her career as an accountant.
Welcoming back Victoria in February 2018 as she returned to Melbourne was a pleasure. She continues to specialise in taxation, SMSF’s and accounting.
I gain satisfaction by meeting our clients’ accounting and taxation compliance obligations and minimising tax by offering sound knowledge and advice. I enjoy working together to find solutions that enhance their business performance and future success.
Maria has returned to our firm after almost 15 years working in the city and currently works part time. Maria has signficant experience with a variety of clients in diverse industry sectors including retail, manufacturing, construction, wholesale, professionals and other business activities. Maria specialises in the provision of accounting, taxation and business advisory services and has established a reputation of working closely with clients to assist with all aspects of their business.
Shirley joined the firm in August 2018 having worked in mid-tier city firms for 8 years. She is a Certified Practising Accountant, SMSF Specialist Advisor™ and SMSF Auditor. She has vast experience in providing high quality strategic advice and solutions to help clients meet their retirement objectives.
Shirley is also an expert skier with NZSIA Level 2 ski instructor certificate.

“Harj joined the firm in January 2021. A highly motivated and qualified CPA with previous experience in the financial services sector both in financial and management accounting. He has over 15 years extensive experience in Business Services helping small to medium size businesses with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns.
Harj has an extensive background in lending and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and is a member of the MFAA.
I’m really enjoying my time at Bruce Edmunds and Associates. No two days are the same, just as no two clients are the same which makes coming to work every day exciting and fun. I’m constantly learning and growing. I also enjoy interacting with and getting to know the clients personally.
Jamie joined us in June 2019 after completing her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting at Deakin University. Jamie passed with flying colours and we’re happy to have her as part of our team. Jamie is in the process of completing her Chartered Accountant studies. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach and watching her favourite show, Survivor.
My time at Bruce Edmunds has been full of new experiences and challenging learning opportunities. I had to quickly learn how to apply my university knowledge to “real” life work tasks and client discussions. I love helping people so knowing I have helped assist clients with their tax queries and needs is personally very rewarding. Working at Bruce Edmunds and being welcomed by a great team has motivated me and given me a glimpse into what my future career will hold once graduating.
Shannon started working with us in July 2022 as a Junior Accountant while completing her double degree in Commerce and Law (majoring in Accounting) at Deakin University. She is also currently the Treasurer of Deakin Commerce Society. In her free time, Shannon enjoys playing netball, staying active and baking.

Scott is a motivated and inquisitive Graduate Accountant at Bruce Edmunds and Associates. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Melbourne and is currently pursuing his CA qualification.
With a background in the construction industry and retail, Scott brings a unique perspective to his role. Prior to joining the accounting firm in July 2023, he gained valuable experience working for a construction company while studying. This diverse background has honed his ability to understand and appreciate the distinct approaches each client takes in operating their business.
